Meet Rey, our exceptional Sales Coordinator, who joined the Centrered team in December 2022.
In this role, Rey handles a wide range of tasks, including managing client renewals, creating and managing orders, collaborating with distributors, and providing valuable support to Account Managers. Additionally, Rey efficiently manages customers and opportunities through our Sales Board System, oversees inventory, and handles both inbound and outbound calls.
Rey is a valued member of our team and proudly considers himself a citizen of the world. Fuelled by a deep passion for travel, Rey has a dream of exploring every country in Europe. Reflecting on past adventures, Rey vividly remembers an unforgettable dining experience in Tokyo, Japan, where he indulged in king crab for the first time. While Rey embraces his identity as a globetrotter, his aspirations extend beyond the Philippines. He envisions creating new memories in Japan, New Zealand, or Australia, enriching his journey through life.
When asked about his experience working at Centrered, Rey expressed admiration for the company’s commitment to fostering a flexible work-life balance. In addition to being a world traveller, Rey possesses a keen interest in the realm of IT and enjoys sharing his knowledge. Among his favourite IT-related facts is the revelation that the first computer mouse, crafted in 1963 by computer scientist Douglas Engelbart, was actually made of wood. Featuring a single button on top and two wheels beneath, this primitive precursor to today’s cutting-edge computer mice serves as a testament to the remarkable advancements in technology.
When Rey isn’t exploring the world or delving into the latest IT facts, there’s an intriguing hidden talent you might not be aware of—he’s a talented badminton player! Surprisingly, this skill remains a well-kept secret in Rey’s life, as he has never shared it on social media.
