Katerina (Kat) joined Centrered’s Shared Services Team in Canberra in January 2019. She helps our clients with their IT issues onsite and over the phone. She loves sharing a laugh with colleagues and learning new things.

Her top IT-related tip is a good one for those of us who work on sensitive information:

“Press the Windows key + L to quickly lock your computer.”

Away from work, Kat has two ‘furbabies’, a Staffy named Montana and a Border Collie named Mia.

She loves being outdoors in nature and enjoys travelling and reading. Kat is looking forward to graduating from the University of Canberra at the end of this semester after a long seven years of study. We think she deserves a medal with that persistence! Congratulations on your achievement, Kat.

If you’re looking for a new book to read over the summer holidays, Kat recommends The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.

“It’s a great read about being here in the present moment. He also has a sequel, A New Earth, which is also amazing.”

Once the international borders open up again, Kat can’t wait to go back to Fiji.

“I visited a couple of years ago and I haven’t stopped thinking about going back there ever since, it is the most beautiful place in the world with the kindest people.”

According to Kat, Bad Boys 2 is the greatest movie of all time. She has also been watching Love Island Australia because she loves ‘terrible’ reality TV.

Kat wanted to become a veterinarian and a ‘shopkeeper’ when she was growing up, but if she made the career pivot to professional wrestling, she’s already picked out her entrance song – ‘Last Time that I Checc’d’ by Nipsey Hussle ft YG. Next time you need a bit of hype to get you through the day, give it a listen! (Strong language warning.)
